Lilycuddles is an online store built on Magento eCommerce platform and aimed at providing a full range of products for the babies of colour.
The Challenge
Lilycuddles site was setup on a Magento eCommerce platform that could not deliver what the company wanted. There were thousands of products to be imported, customisations required on the home page, product page and not to mention the extensions needed to deal with the desired functionality. Off-the-shelf theme and designs could not achieve the look the brand wanted to achieve for its select audience. The client was working on some very tight deadlines which required working long hours and spending some weekends. The project needed rescuing.
The Outcome
When team Yellow Pixel came on board, it was an uphill task to understand the look and feel which the company wanted to achieve. Using wireframes, we created the layouts for various pages. Our development team worked hard at customising the entire layout while advising on practicality and design elements. The checkout process was refined to provide a simple and speedy checkout for customers. At the end, team Yellow Pixel managed to complete the deliverables within the expected timeline resulting in a very happy customer.
